Super Space Acer is a retro 8-bit styled top-down shmup with a psuedo-3D perspective. Originally developed for the TI-99/4A and ColecoVision, it has been ported to the GBA with graphics and sound enhancements.

The game features 5 stages with multiple enemy types and large bosses that take progressive damage as you attack them.

The player has three main ships, each with two weapons that can be powered up and a different play style. There are also two unlockable 'secret' ships and a final ultimate hard mode to unlock. The game features three difficulty levels to ease you into the game.

The game is playable on a real GBA or emulator - it has been tested on a GBA SP, VisualBoyAdvance and mGBA (the high resolution mode looks really nice!)
